Web Desk (LTN NEWS): Joyland is a Pakistani movie that has been praised around the world. It is doing well now that it has been nominated for an Oscar, and Malala, who won the Nobel Peace Prize, has joined as an executive producer.

On Instagram, the director Saim Sadiq and the actor Sarwat Gilani gave her a warm welcome. “I’m thrilled that Malala has joined team Joyland.

Tomorrow, the film is going to be shown for the first time at the London Film Festival, the Churails actor wrote.

Malala has a company called Extracurricular Productions that makes movies and TV shows.

“I’m very proud to back a movie that shows Pakistani actors are some of the best in the world.”

Joyland asks us to open our eyes to the people closest to us, to see our family and friends as they are, not as we want them to be or as society tells us they should be,” she was quoted as saying in Variety.

The film had its world premiere at Cannes, which was Pakistan’s first time ever at the festival.

It won the jury prize at the Un Certain Regard section of the festival. It is currently being shown at both the BFI London Film Festival and the Busan International Film Festival.

At the BFI London Film Festival, it is competing for the Sutherland Award, which goes to the director whose first film is the most original and imaginative. The Busan International Film Festival, it is part of the A Window on Asian Cinema strand.

The main character in Joyland is Haider, played by Junejo. Haider is the youngest son of a middle-class family.

He joins the theater in secret as a background dancer and becomes friends with Biba, a transgender dancer who is trying to make a name for herself in the theater world. In the film’s family drama, the themes of “desire, secrets, and empathy” are emphasized.

Sadiq wrote the script and is in charge of directing the movie. Apoorva Guru Charan, Sarmad Sultan Khoosat, and Lauren Mann are the producers. Ali Junejo, Alina Khan, and Rasti Farooq are making their acting debuts in the film, along with Gilani, Sania Saeed, Sohail Sameer, and Salmaan Peerzada, who are all well-known and loved actors in Pakistan.

Even though the movie is coming out on November 18 in Pakistan, there hasn’t been an official trailer yet.
