Inspector Gulab, played by Fahad Mustafa in the movie Quaid-e-Azam Zindabad, has made the transition from the silver screen to reality thanks to an honorary title created in his honor. At the CCPO headquarters in Karachi on Independence Day, Sindh IG Ghulam Nabi Memon bestowed upon the actor the title of Honorary Superintendent of Police (SP).

On Sunday, Mustafa was recognized for his efforts in unveiling social evils such as corruption through his film starring Mahira Khan, Jawed Sheikh, Mehmood Aslam, Nayyar Ejaz, Saleem Mairaj, and more. The Load Wedding star also had a discussion with IG Memon about the direction of the local police and offered some suggestions.

Announcing the achievement on Instagram, Mustafa wrote, “Today, I truly believe Gulab has achieved his biggest dreams. Many many thanks to IG Sindh Police Ghulam Nabi Memon for honoring me with the title of Honorary SSP, this Independence Day, and for bringing Gulab’s ambitions to life. I will never get over the love and support you all have shown to this character and Quaid-e-Azam Zindabad, and I hope to continue serving my nation proudly!” he said.

According to a press release, the ceremony was attended by film director Nabeel Qureshi, writer-producer Fizza Ali Meerza, LCA Sindh chairman Kumail Haider Shah, and CPLC chief Zubair Habib along with the DIG Headquarters Sindh, DIG Training Sindh, DIG Crime and Investigation Sindh and AIG Operations Sindh.

The theme of Mustafa’s movie Quaid-e-Azam Zindabad is the scourge of bribery and how those engaging in illicit activity need to be reminded of their morals and the lofty expectations the nation’s founder had for us.
