Web Desk (LTN NEWS): Pakistan Cricket Board said that fast bowler Naseem Shah will join the team on Sunday for the tri-nation series in New Zealand once he is done with his isolation at home.
The PCB sent Naseem Shah home from the team hotel in Lahore to self-isolate after he tested positive for COVID-19.
On September 29, the PCB said that the pacer got Coronavirus just hours after the board said he had pneumonia.
After his health got worse before the 5th T20I against England, he was taken to the hospital
The PCB’s spokesperson said that Naseem Shah will take all safety precautions by staying at home alone for the next two days.
The official said that Naseem Shah will not play in the next two Twenty20I games against England. There are seven Twenty20I games in total.
The fast bowler will go to New Zealand with the team on Sunday. On Saturday, his time in isolation will be over.
During this time, Naseem Shah’s health will still be looked at by the PCB’s medical panel.
