Web Desk (LTN NEWS): Hadiqa Kiani, a singer, has said that she is rebuilding the Balochistan villages of Rabbi, Chattar, and now Tamboo. She posted a video of herself in the area, where she called the people “brave.”
Hadiqa Kiani was seen talking to people in the villages, comforting them, and listening to their worries about how they were going to deal with the aftermath of the floods.
Hadiqa Kiani also wrote, in addition to her tweet, that she plans to go to remote parts of Punjab and Sindh in the coming weeks and “adopt” villages there. She asked everyone who can adopt a flood-hit village and help the people there.
Hadiqa Kiani used Instagram to promote her flood relief campaign, Vaseela, and show where people in Balochistan are staying. She wrote, “Sometimes words can’t do justice to what our eyes see.”
The goal of Kiani’s Vaseela campaign is to help as many people as possible who have been hurt by the floods. In August, she made a list of things that were needed and asked other Pakistanis to help.
