Web Desk (LTN NEWS): A few days after the release date for the much-anticipated The Legend of Maula Jatt was announced, moviegoers got another surprise: the first trailer for the movie, which stars Mahira Khan and Fawad Khan. Everyone was glued to their seats as the two-minute-and-a-half-long video showed scenes from the upcoming movie in a way that was intriguing, magical, and beautifully put together.
The trailer for the long-awaited movie has, of course, caught the attention of many people, including Indian director and actor Anurag Kashyap. The Gangs of Wasseypur director tweeted with a link to the trailer on YouTube, “Finally, the film I’ve loved so much and that you really want to see is out!”
People on social media are going crazy over the movie, which also stars Hamza Ali Abbasi, Humaima Malick, and Mirza Gohar Rasheed. One user called it the “Punjabi Game of Thrones,” and another said they’ve never seen a better trailer than this one.
Joginder Tuteja, a film critic, tweeted, “This is the biggest thing ever!
Think about it: the action movie came out before K.G.F. This could be one of the most popular movies of all time. Fawad Khan, Mahira Khan, Bilal Lashari, and Ammara Hikmat, you have indeed made something amazing.”
The Legend of Maula Jatt is Pakistan’s most expensive movie ever made. This intense and epic origin story of a hero was written by Bilal Lashari, and Nasir Adeeb wrote the dialogue. It is a hard reboot of the 1979 cult classic Maula Jatt. Lashari also directed the movie. His first movie as a director, Waar, was a huge hit at the box office. Ammara Hikmat produced the movie as a joint venture between Encyclopedia and Lashari films and AAA Motion Pictures.
The movie was first talked about in 2011, but there have been many problems along the way. The Legend of Maula Jatt kept getting pushed back for one reason or another, whether it was a long court case or a pandemic. Now, fans and critics are hoping that the movie will finally be made and will come out on October 13, the date that was just announced
