Karachi (LTN NEWS): Noor Bukhari adored the film London Nahi Jaunga except for the moment when Humayun Saeed was handed a romance role. She didn’t appear to think it was age-appropriate for him to play the romantic hero because love is for youths only, supposedly. Shaniera Akram disagreed and said in her experience, that is not true.
On Wednesday, the activist re-shared Bukhari’s statements on her Instagram account and remarked, “I don’t know about this. From my perspective, I think many wonderful love tales happen a lot in the second half of life.” She added the portrayal of those stories is surely depending on the writing.

She recalled all the people who’ve entered the tunnel of love but come out alone and others who have never stepped foot in it, and stated, “So many people haven’t found their true love or are still desire for it. There are many unmarried, divorced [and] widowed people in the world – don’t rule them out. Theirs is the true story of discovering love!”

This was in response to Bukhari’s comments in her Instagram story, released on Tuesday. She shared an image from London Nahi Jaunga and said, “Very well-shot Nadeem Baig, [you have the] best directing. [The] cinematography [is] great, [the] actors are brilliant but sorry, [the] love story? Not going with Humayun’s age. People don’t fall in love at this age. [The] plot is incredibly weak. He should now take on more mature roles, this is just tough to digest.”

After a few hours had passed, the actor released a second story on Instagram in which she made it clear that she has nothing against Saeed and, in fact, that she loves him. She simply has the impression that “he is capable of so much more than being a romantic hero.”
