Internet service down again within a week

Web Desk (LTN NEWS): Multiple cuts in the PTCL fiber cable caused another disruption in internet service within a week. This caused a lot of trouble for millions of people in the central and northern parts of Pakistan.

Services stopped before midnight in the twin cities of Rawalpindi and Islamabad, and they didn’t start back up again until 1:20 am. After the repairs were done, the services were still shaky, but after about 15 minutes, they were back to normal.

A spokesman for PTCL said that teams went to work as soon as services were stopped, and they were working closely with partners upstream to find a solution. On August 19, there was a problem with the way the Internet sent information.
