Web Desk (LTN NEWS): The Pakistan cricket team came from Amsterdam to Dubai on Monday to take part in the Asia Cup, which starts on August 27. The T20 format will be used for the 2022 Asia Cup.
Before that, in Amsterdam, Pakistan beat the Netherlands in a three-game ODI series.
Sources say that the national T20 team will stay at the hotel today to rest up.
Iftikhar Ahmed, Usman Qadir, Haider Ali, and Asif Ali, who are all on Pakistan’s T20 team, will travel from Lahore to Dubai today. Muhammad Hasnain will fly from Britain to the United Arab Emirates to take Shaheen Afridi’s place at the Asia Cup.
Sources say that tomorrow, the Pakistan cricket team will begin training in Dubai.
India will be Pakistan’s first opponent in the tournament on August 28.
The games will take place in Dubai and Sharjah from August 27 to September 11. On August 27, Sri Lanka and Afghanistan will be the first teams to play in the event.
Pakistan, India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, and Afghanistan all have teams in the T20 event.
