Islamabad (LTN NEWS): Pakistan Democratic Movement has appealed to the Election Commission of Pakistan to announce the “long-delayed” judgment on the PTI foreign funding case.
This unanimous demand of PDM parties was announced by Pakistan Democratic Movement Head, Maulana Fazal-ur-Rehman while talking to newsmen in Islamabad on Thursday.
Speaking on the occasion, Maulana Fazal-ur-Rehman said that it has been proved in foreign funding case that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf submitted fake certificates and the party had illegally collected billions of rupees from foreign companies and citizens.
Speaking on the occasion Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Vice President Maryam Nawaz demanded the announcement of the judgment on the PTI foreign funding case.
She said that Imran Khan had used the foreign funds to create political anarchy in the country.
Earlier today while speaking to the media outside the Election Commission in Islamabad, Shahid Khaqan Abbasi said that it is illegal to receive funding from any foreign person or company, the law of our country does not allow any political party to receive money from any foreign group.
He said that a large amount of foreign funding has not come into the country, it is still in the accounts outside the country, and we have requested the Election Commission today that the people know from whom Imran Khan has been taking money, Financial Times yesterday. As the organization said that Arif Naqvi conducted a cricket match in London, Arif Naqvi said that crores of rupees earned from the match would be spent on charity, but the amount of 55 crores from Arif Naqvi’s company was sent to PTI accounts.
Shahid Khaqan said that Imran Khan’s party received money from American companies and PTI did not provide any evidence to the Election Commission, they cannot make impartial decisions by receiving money from companies in California and Texas.
He further said that if Imran Khan’s hands were clean, he would have given an account on the first day, even today Imran Khan is attacking the Election Commission.
It has been running away from this case for 8 years, PTI did not allow the decision to come by applying all kinds of pressure for 8 years, and Imran Khan is increasing the pressure on the Election Commission by using every tactic, we requested in the meeting with the Election Commission that Gives judgment in PTI funding case.
Shahid Khaqan said that according to the law, political parties cannot take funding from abroad, a large part of the money received from different countries, including the US, has not been delivered to Pakistan. account and PTI do not know, there are two companies in the US as foreign agents, the name of the chairman of these two companies is Imran Khan, these companies are registered as foreign agents in the US, these foreign companies have You can see from whom and how much money you have received.
He said that it has been 8 years since the Election Commission could not give a decision on the foreign funding of PTI. Imran Khan’s 8-year process is clear proof that he got money from others and used it in politics. Now it is the constitutional responsibility of the Election Commission to bring the report to the public.
