Web Desk (LTN NEWS): Sources close to the situation said on Tuesday that the name of PTI leader Shahbaz Gill had been added to the Exit Control List (ECL).
Under the condition of anonymity, officials who knew about the situation said that Gill’s name was added to the ECL with the federal cabinet’s approval.
The Islamabad government asked for the name of the former special assistant to the prime minister to be added to the list of people who are leaving.
Gill was charged with sedition for making comments on a private TV channel show that led to a mutiny in the Pakistan Army. On September 15, the IHC released him on bail.
The top court has asked the federal government to cancel the bail.
