Web Desk (LTN NEWS): PMD warns that heavy rains could cause flooding in Karachi, Thatta, Badin, and Hyderabad. Rain, wind, and thundershowers are also expected in most of Sindh and Balochistan, and in a few places in Kashmir, south Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Gilgit-Baltistan.
Sindh and Balochistan could also get a lot of rain on Friday
The Met Office also said that on Saturday, rain, wind, and thunderstorms are likely in most of Sindh and Balochistan, in some spots in south Punjab, and in a few places in upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir, and Gilgit-Baltistan. During this time, there is also a chance of heavy rain in Sindh and Balochistan.
The PMD said that on August 12 and 13, heavy rains could cause flooding in Karachi, Thatta, Badin, Hyderabad, Dadu, Jamshoro, Sukkur, Larkana, Shaheed Benazirabad, and Mirpurkhas.
It also said that flash flooding was likely in Qilla Saifullah, Loralai, Barkhan, Kohlu, Mosa Khel, Sherani, Sibbi, Bolan, Kalat, Khuzdar, Lasbella, Awaran, Turbat, Panjgur, Pasni, Jiwani, and hill torrents of Dera Ghazi Khan during the time of the forecast.
