Web Desk (LTN NEWS): Former Punjab Chief Minister and Muslim League (N) leader Hamza Shehbaz filed a review petition against the decision to declare Pervez Elahi as the Chief Minister.
A review petition was filed in the Supreme Court on behalf of Hamza Shehbaz, in which Chief Minister Punjab Pervez Elahi and former Deputy Speaker Dost Mohammad Mazari have been made parties.
In the petition, it has been requested that the Supreme Court should review the decision of declaring Pervez Elahi as the Chief Minister of Punjab, and the ruling of former Deputy Speaker Dost Muhammad Mazari should be declared constitutional.
In Hamza Shehbaz’s petition, it has been said that a full court should be set up to interpret the constitutional point on the revision petition.
In his application, the former chief minister has also requested to constitute a full court to hear the petitions under Article 63A.
