Web Desk (LTN NEWS): The Supreme Court, while dealing with MQM’s request regarding the second phase of local body elections in Sindh, has ordered that polling will be held on August 28.
The hearing on petitions against constituencies for the second phase of local elections in Sindh was held in the Supreme Court under the chairmanship of the Chief Justice of Pakistan.
Khalid Javed Khan, the lawyer of the unopposed elected representatives, appeared in the court and took the position that the number of union committees in Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is also decided by the government, the limits and constituencies are done keeping in mind factors other than population.
