Web Desk (LTN news): Imran Khan, the head of the PTI, told the “neutrals” to rethink their plans while there is still time. He also said that decisions made behind closed doors are not good for the country.

During a speech at a seminar on freedom of expression, the former prime minister said that the establishment forced these “thieves” on Pakistan.

“How did the establishment let the current government run the country when they knew about the foreign plot? This is because right now they have the most power, “said the ex-prime minister.

“No matter how neutral you [the establishment] say you are, the country will blame you for making us have this government,” he said.

The former prime minister said that the establishment is forcing us to accept these thieves, and that’s why they’re making people afraid.

He said, “They are calling our MNAs and putting pressure on us to accept this government.”

“The government chooses a party’s social media activists.”

The head of the PTI said that the government “picks up” the people in his party who are active on social media and forces them to say that they tweeted on his orders.

“Anyone who tweets something bad about the army gets picked up,” he said.

Khan said that his party worker Shahbaz Gill shouldn’t have said the things for which he is being tried. He also said that torturing him is a very bad thing.

“Maryam Nawaz, Ayaz Sadiq, and Maulana Fazlur Rehman have all said bad things about the army, but nothing bad has happened to them,” he said.

The former prime minister said again that open elections were the only way to get the country’s politics back on track.

“Not scared about freedom of speech”

Khan started his speech by talking about freedom of speech. He said that it was an important part of setting people free. He also said that a country can only do well if it is free.

The head of the PTI said that he doesn’t worry about freedom of speech and that being free doesn’t mean insulting someone.

The former prime minister said that the two main parties in the coalition government, PML-N and PPP, have both brought corruption cases against each other.

“Nawaz Sharif and Zardari took Rs1.5 billion out of the country in 1996,” he said.

Khan said that everyone knows that these parties have been dirty.

“I supported former President Pervez Musharraf because he came to end corruption. However, he later gave an NRO to these people,” he said.
