Web Desk (LTN NEWS): Students from different parts of Punjab have asked the government to get them out quickly.

According to reports received by News on Friday, around 30 students are stuck in Kumrat Valley in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Upper Dir District because of flooding and constant rain.

The students, who are both men and women, have asked the government to help them leave in a safe way.

One of the girls told News that they are from different parts of Punjab and that the cold weather makes it hard for them to talk.

“We’re sleeping on a wet floor, and there’s nothing to eat or drink here,” she said, adding that she had called the police.

So far, however, no one has come up to the students.

Shahab Ali Shah, the Additional Chief Secretary, said that food and tents have been given to the students who are stuck.

He also said that as soon as the weather gets better, the students will be evacuated safely.
