Web Desk (LTN NEWS): Sunday, Nawaz Sharif, the leader of the PML-N, asked wealthy people to help flood victims all over Pakistan.
During a speech to his party members, the PML-N leader stressed how important it was to help flood victims instead of focusing on other things.
Nawaz Sharif praises PM Shahbaz’s work to help flood victims in Pakistan get help and be rescued quickly.
Nawaz thanked Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif for everything he did during the disaster. He also said that his daughter, Maryam Nawaz, who is the vice president of the PML-N, will visit flood-affected areas and check on the ongoing relief work.
He said, “Now is not the time for politics. Now is the time to help the victims and heal their wounds.”
The former prime minister of Pakistan said that now is a good time to think about what you have done.
“Floods are indeed a huge natural disaster. Thousands of people have died and millions of people are without homes,” he said, adding that now is the time to help the victims in a big way.
Nawaz has also asked for tents and relief camps to be set up for people who have been affected by the floods.
“People are in trouble and need your help because floods have caused a lot of damage,” he said, asking his party workers and the rest of the country to give money to help those in need.
