EU President assures help to flood victims

Web Desk (LTN NEWS): PM Shehbaz Sharif met with European Union President Ursula von der Leyen in Islamabad and addressed issues of mutual interest.

The meeting took place on the fringes of the 77^th session of the United Nations General Assembly, according to the Prime Minister’s Office’s Media Wing.

“I communicated to Prime Minister of Pakistan @CMShehbaz my personal sympathies for the victims of the devastating floods. The EU Commission stands by you. We will provide new humanitarian supplies to Pakistan in the coming weeks,” the EU President said in a tweet.
