Web Desk (LTN News): Nawaz Sharif, the leader of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PMLN) and a former prime minister, declared on Wednesday that is the day to draw lessons from the difficult past of the nation.

The former prime minister said on Twitter that Parliament was dissolved and the Constitution was broken Wednesday. The PMLN leader continued, “We went through such situations four times.”

Nawaz Sharif claimed that although the nation has suffered greatly, there is still time to address the issues. He claimed that this is why it has lagged behind and not developed.

A “stitch in time,” according to insiders, the decision to depart the country immediately was made as a result of worries voiced in government agency reports regarding the planning of archrival PTI’s long march and its potential success.

Maryam, like the rest of her siblings, sought safety in London under the protection of her father as a result of not waiting for the other shoe to drop, according to reports.

They continued by saying that the decision was motivated by worries about potential political repercussions from former prime minister Imran Khan moving closer to the federal capital, which was essentially the political haven of the PML-N-led coalition, whose influence in the provinces had been undermined by PTI’s unrelenting march toward electoral victory there.

The government officials had informed Nawaz Sharif that there was a good probability Imran Khan would win his lengthy march, preventing any potential political uproar.

Party insiders stated that Maryam Nawaz “may have encountered challenges while staying outside the country in case the PTI’s potential long march succeeds” and that her return to Pakistan will only be possible when the dust has settled on the PTI’s long march heading toward Islamabad.

She landed in the country to spend a month with her father, who has been in London since November 2019, and they reconnected in London last week after three years apart. According to reports, she will receive medical attention during this visit, and there is a strong likelihood that she and Nawaz Sharif will travel back to Pakistan together.

Political experts, however, said the event was “counterintuitive” given that Maryam was apparently given the responsibility of reorganizing the party and was anticipated to travel quickly around Punjab areas to campaign for the October 16 by-elections.

It should be remembered that in recent years, the PML-N has frequently chosen to rely on Ms. Sharif’s abilities to turn around its precarious electoral prospects by fielding her locally to lead its canvassing by herself.

‘United under wings’

The sources stated that Maryam is the most recent Sharif to seek asylum in London under her father’s protection as three of her siblings are already there and that with Maryam’s presence, Nawaz Sharif has successfully secured his entire family abroad.

Both the prime minister and his son, Hamza Shehbaz, are currently in Pakistan.

According to party sources, the party leaders in Pakistan, including PM Shehbaz and Hamza Shehbaz, may experience difficulty if the long march is successful and the federal government falls.
