Web Desk (LTN NEWS): The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has declared that it will take the Election Commission of Pakistan’s (ECP) ruling against Imran Khan in the Toshakhana matter to the Islamabad High Court (IHC).
In response to the ECP judgement, PTI General Secretary Asad Umar stated that the party will appeal to the IHC today. He said, “PTI will submit a petition today.”
Enraged by the ECP judgement, top PTI leader Fawad Chaudhry branded it a “shameful” decision that attacked Pakistan’s institutions.

In a unanimous decision, the ECP disqualified former Prime Minister Imran Khan on Friday, ruling that the PTI chairman is no longer a member of the National Assembly.

According to the ECP, Khan presented a fake affidavit and was found to be involved in corrupt acts.
Chaudhry told reporters following the verdict that the commission had delivered the outcome they had hoped for. “They’re solely interested in Imran Khan,” he remarked.
According to the PTI leader, the ECP and its members lack the expertise to decide this. He questioned, “Who are you [ECP] to make this decision?
“I implore Pakistanis to protest for their rights in public. PTI and the country disagree with this choice,” he added.
