Watch: Babar Azam cheers up his team after losing against India

Web Desk (LTN NEWS): When his team loses a T20 World Cup match against India, Pakistani captain Babar Azam rallies his players in the locker room after the game.

Babar Azam, captain of Pakistan, delivered words of encouragement to Mohammad Nawaz and the rest of the Men in Green following their opening match loss to India at the Twenty20 World Cup in Australia.

“Nawaz, I know I can count on you. You raised the stakes and made the game interesting. I applaud your effort,” Babar Azam said, trying to rally his teammates by telling them they had to forget about their recent loss if they were to perform well going forward.

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) released a video of Azam in the locker room, assuring a dejected squad that they would improve due to the encounter.

Babar Azam urged the Green Shirts to maintain unity before the team’s many remaining crucial matches.

India beat Pakistan in a thrilling match in the Super 12 round of the ICC T20 World Cup.

India chased a goal of 160 runs, needing 16 runs in the final against Pakistan, delivered by Mohammad Nawaz, and won by four wickets.
