Web Desk (LTN NEWS): Sunday in Birmingham, Commonwealth Games javelin thrower Arshad Nadeem broke the record with a 90.18-meter throw. This earned him a gold medal. Netizens love his performance, even though he was hurt, and they wouldn’t mind giving him another gold medal for bringing the title home.

In a match that also included former Olympic champion Keshorn Walcott and former Commonwealth and world champion Julius Yego, Nadeem came out on top. After Nooh Dasagir Butt broke the record for weightlifting on August 4, he is the second Pakistani to win a gold medal at the Games. On the same day, Shah Hussain won a bronze medal in judo.

Since Nadeem won, people on Twitter are very happy. Cricket captain Babar Azam was one of his many supporters. He wrote, “His body was hurt, but his courage was bigger than the Himalayas.” He said that Nadeem’s work was good and that he made the country proud.

Fawad Chaudhry, who used to be the minister of information and broadcasting, also went on Twitter to congratulate Nadeem.

We are so proud of how well our athletes are doing at the Commonwealth Games, even though they don’t get the help they need.
