The short life story of former Pakistan captain Sarfaraz Ahmed will now be read by students in the fourth grade.
Sarfaraz’s bio was added to the fourth-grade Urdu textbook after he led Pakistan to win the Champions Trophy in 2017.
Khushbakht, the cricketer’s wife, shared a picture of the class four Urdu book that has Sarfaraz’s bio in it.
“Thrilled! Just thinking about when my kids, along with their friends and teacher, would read about their dad. I couldn’t be happier! Alhamdulillah, “she tweeted.
Sarfaraz is thought to be one of the best captains in the history of Pakistani cricket. He had won the Champions Trophy and the U19 Cricket World Cup in 2006.
The famous Pakistani sprinter Naseem Hameed is also in the syllabus book, along with Sarfaraz.
