Web Desk (LTN NEWS): Latest International Cricket Council (ICC) T20I batter rankings were released on Wednesday. Pakistan captain Babar Azam fell to fourth place, while his opening partner Mohammad Rizwan stayed at the top (today).
Rizwan hit a fifty when Pakistan lost to England in Karachi on Tuesday. He has a career-high total of 825 rating points and still has a narrow lead at the top of the rankings.
Babar Azam went from number three to number four in the rankings after a bad Asia Cup and a score of 31 against England in the first game of their series. He now has 771 rating points.
Suryakumar Yadav, an Indian batter, passed the Pakistan captain to move into third place. Yadav scored a stylish 46 runs for India in the first game of their three-game series against Australia in Mohali on Tuesday. It was the first game of a three-game series, and India lost by only a few runs. Yadav moved closer to Pakistan opener Mohammad Rizwan with this score.

But Aiden Markram (792 rating points) and Yadav (780 rating points) are close behind and will have a chance to try to take the top spot when the ICC T20 World Cup starts in Australia in less than a month.
Dawid Malan of England (725) and Aaron Finch, the captain of Australia (715), round out the top six.
India’s Hardik Pandya jumped 22 spots to 65th overall on the list of batters after scoring 71 against Australia. His teammate Axar Patel jumped 24 places to 33rd on the list of bowlers after taking three wickets in the same game.
