PCB chairman is in charge of players health condition

Web Desk (LTN NEWS): Shaheen Shah Afridi is going to join the Pakistan team in Brisbane, Australia, on October 15. Buying a ticket was more of an effort to keep an appointment with a specialist in London, as a delay in his arrival could have made it harder for him to get better.

After a thorough investigation, it is found that Shaheen’s decision to buy his ticket from Dubai to London for the September 28 flight had more to do with his meeting with the specialist the next day.

Since Shaheen, like all contracted players, has full medical coverage, all of the money he has spent or will spend on medical care will be paid back to him in full (as the contractual clauses say).

It has been learned that Shaheen sent the Pakistan Cricket Board five receipts on Friday so that they could pay him back (PCB).

Shaheen stayed with PCB expert Dr. Zafar at his home for three days after he got to London. After that, he moved to a nearby hotel, which was better for his recovery and comfort.

The controversy started when he bought the ticket on Sunday, August 28 in Dubai. Former Pakistan captain Shahid Afridi said that PCB didn’t care about his rehabilitation process.

“He went to England on his own, bought his own ticket, and paid for his own room in a hotel. Shaheen’s future father-in-law, Shahid Afridi, said, “I found him a doctor, and he called the doctor himself.”

Friday, when he talked to fans, PCB Chairman Ramiz Raja said that there was a problem with the clarity of a ticket that was bought quickly.

“The most important people in Pakistan cricket are the players. Anyone from any other country can ask us what we do for these cricket players that no other board does. How could anyone think that the PCB wouldn’t look after these players?

Last year, during the World Cup, Rizwan was taken to the ICU in Dubai, and the PCB did everything they could to get him back on his feet. We do the same thing for Fakhar Zaman, who also gets care in London. Even ten-year-olds who play under the PCB’s umbrella are taken care of. How could we pass up a chance to be treated like stars?”

Shaheen has been put on Pakistan’s World Cup T20 team in the hopes that he will be fully healthy by the time Pakistan’s first game against India on October 13 rolls around. On October 18, both Shaheen and Fakhar will travel to Brisbane to join the team.
