Web Desk (LTN NEWS): Inzamam ul Haq, who used to be Pakistan’s captain, batsman, and chief selector, gave some advice to the team’s current captain, Babar Azam, and batsman, Fakhar Zaman.
Inzamam has told both batters that they should score more runs on the field instead of staying on the pitch for longer.
Team’s batting performance in the Asia Cup has been worrying, with Captain Babar scoring only 30 runs over the course of the big event.
Inzamam also said that he thought Pakistan should play good cricket.
He told the Pakistani batters to attack the Sri Lankan bowlers by saying, “Batters always feel better when they score, not when they stay at the wicket.”

He said that the Green Shirts are good at the game and that the other team’s bowling is not good enough to stop Pakistan from scoring.

“Our bowling is better than any other team in the Asia Cup 2022,” Inzamam said. He also said that if Sri Lanka bats first and scores between 170 and 175, Pakistan can limit Sri Lanka in the second innings.
Pakistan has had problems at home, but they have done well in this tournament, which is a warm-up for the T20 World Cup in Australia next month. They beat India in their second game and beat Afghanistan in a nail-biter in the last over.
Their recent loss to Sri Lanka may have slowed down their progress, but head coach Saqlain Mushtaq said the team will learn from Friday’s game.
