Web Desk (LTN NEWS): In the process of chasing down a target of 200, Pakistan broke a record when Babar and Rizwan put together the highest partnership for the opening wicket. After being thoroughly dominated in England’s first game in the country in 17 years, this was a much-needed boost for the squad.
Apparently, PM Shehbaz Sharif watched the game and praised their teamwork. He jotted down, “152/0 and now 203/0. Babar and Rizwan,” along with a Pakistani flag emoji and a thumbs-up emoji.
In fact, the social media platform was flooded with compliments about their show. Former England captain and cricket commentator Nasser Hussain once said, “If you think Babar and Rizwan have been the problem…. you really haven’t been watching the last couple of years.”
