Web Desk (LTN NEWS): Twenty more bodies found on the roof of Multan’s Nishtar Hospital have been buried in the cemetery next to the hospital by city police and the Edhi foundation.
The police say that the bodies were buried after they looked at DNA samples. Yesterday, five people whose bodies had not been claimed were buried in the cemetery next to Nishtar Hospital.
After the case of the unidentified bodies came to light, Punjab CM Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi had three senior doctors fired and two SHOs, and three officials of Nishtar Hospital suspended.

After a video of dead bodies on the roof of Multan’s Nishtar hospital was made public, the Punjab government’s first investigation found that “these were the dead bodies of unidentified people that the local police gave to Multan’s hospital for medical students to learn from.”
