On Twitter, the provincial minister told Punjab’s 14,000 teachers that the first good news is that the file for their regularization has been started, signed, and moved forward.
Muad Raas said, “Promises were made, and promises were kept.” He also said that more good news was on the way, InshAllah. The minister didn’t say anything else.
In March, the minister said that schools would hire 15,000 new teachers to make up for a lack of teachers. However, the PTI government was removed in April, and the process was put on hold.
