PM Shehbaz visits to Sohbatpur in Balochistan

Web Desk (LTN NEWS): PM Shehbaz Sharif went to the Balochistan district of Sohbatpur, which was hit by flooding, on Wednesday. He told officials to move quickly to drain the water and fix the area’s basic infrastructure.

PM Shehbaz gave the orders during a briefing when he arrived in the district. In the briefing, he said that relief and recovery efforts must move faster.

Also, PM said that the country had received tents from Turkey, which would be sent to the parts of Balochistan that were hit the hardest by flooding.

Chief Secretary of Balochistan, Abdul Aziz Uqaili, told PM Shehbaz about the relief and recovery work being done at the time.

More than 200,000 mosquito nets have been given to flood victims in the area, according to the chief secretary.

He also said that medical camps have been set up to make sure that people affected by the disaster get medical care as soon as possible.

PM thanks Turkey for helping with flood aid

This week, PM Shehbaz talked to Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and thanked him and the people of Türkiye for helping Pakistan with humanitarian aid.

Turkey’s aid came in the form of tents, emergency food, and medicines that were sent right away by 12 Turkish military planes, 4 “goodness trains,” and 2 Turkish Red Crescent Trucks.

PM said that this is in the best tradition of the great relationship between Pakistan and Türkiye.
