Web Desk (LTN NEWS): Rana Sanaullah says that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will do his job and choose the army chief according to the rules. Federal Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah asked the PTI not to make the choice of the army chief a problem.
The minister said that choosing the next Army Chief is not a big deal and shouldn’t be treated as such.
“It can’t be a point of contention that the army chief was chosen.”
He said that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will do his job and make this appointment according to the rules and the Pakistani Constitution.
Minister said that if Imran Khan’s experience affects the appointment or gives the impression that it will, it will mess up the whole institution.
He warned that if Imran Khan makes a mistake by using the situation to his advantage and tries to take over Islamabad with his armed group, the government will deal with him more forcefully than before.
Rana Sanaullah said, “He will either leave in a shameful way or be caught.” He added that there is a chance that he will be caught this time.
He said that Imran Khan and the troublemakers should be taken to court if they break into the federal capital.
The PML-N leader said that Imran Khan sold two watches and a tea set from Toshakhana. He said this at the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP). He asked, “Will he get out of this case?”
He said that Imran Khan was a problem and cancer in Pakistani politics, and he stressed that cancer must be removed. This is because if the country doesn’t deal with it today or tomorrow, it will cause damage that can’t be fixed, he said.
