Lahore: Three cases of rape reported in the last 24 hours

Web Desk (LTN NEWS): In the last 24 hours, three cases of rape were reported to the police in Lahore, the capital of Punjab. This shows that the number of sexual assaults in Lahore has gone up.

In the last 24 hours, the police have been called to three different rapes.

The First Information Report (FIR) says that a suspect named Waqas raped a married woman in Green Town after luring her into a job trap. Waqas also took Rs1 lakh from the person he raped.

In the second case, which happened in Gojra, a man named Sadaqat Ali raped a 20-year-old disabled woman.

The victim’s uncle filed the FIR, which said that the accused ran away after raping the disabled woman.

In the third case, a 17-year-old cousin of the suspect, Tanveer, was sexually abused in the Iqbal Town neighborhood of Lahore.

The FIR says that Tanveer sexually attacked his cousin after promising to marry her more than once.

The numbers show that 1,207 girls and 1,004 boys were exploited. This means that more than 12 children are abused every single day.

Even though Imran Ali was hanged in 2018 for raping and killing a six-year-old girl in Kasur named Zainab Ansari, sexual abuse of children has not stopped in the country.
