Web Desk (LTN NEWS): National hero Olympian Arshad Nadeem, after winning the gold medal in the Commonwealth Games, reached Lahore, where he received a warm welcome on arrival at the airport.
Arshad Nadeem, who won the gold medal in the Commonwealth Games, arrived at Lahore’s Allama Iqbal International Airport by Turkish Airlines, where Arshad’s family along with Sports Board officials, Sports Minister Punjab Malik Taimur Masood, DG Sports Mohammad Tariq Qureshi and Director Admin Syed were present. Hamir Shah gave him a lavish welcome and presented him with bouquets.
On the arrival of gold medalist Arshad Nadeem outside Lahore Airport, his fans garlanded him with flowers, showered him with garlands, and danced to the beat of drums.

Talking on this occasion, Arshad Nadeem said that I am thankful to Allah and the people of Pakistan, with whose prayers I have won 2 gold medals today. I am also thankful to the coaches, and the federation, who have always supported me.
Arshad Nadeem said I appeal to the government to give us international-level training and provide a separate field for athletes.
Sports Minister Malik Taimur Masood said that Arshad Nadeem has made the nation proud, will fully support the athletes in the country, and will also create a world-class ground in Mian Chanu.
Nadeem’s to receive the Pride of Performance
The government of Pakistan announced the athletes’ names among the list of awardees on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of Pakistan.
Awarded with Rs 5 million by PCB
Following his historic gold medal at the currently taking place Commonwealth Games, javelin thrower Arshad Nadeem was awarded a monetary prize of Rs. 5 million by Director General Pakistan Sports Board (PSB), Colonel (retd) Mohammad Asif Zaman.
In a video message, Zaman congratulated Arshad for his outstanding performance at the competition and announced the cash prize for the gold medalist on behalf of PSB, Federal Minister for Inter-Provincial Coordination (IPC), Ehsan ur Rehman Mazari, and the Prime Minister of Pakistan.
