In the Musakhail area, floods washed away another dam. Two Levies officials died when their car was swept away by a flash flood as they drove back from Washuk. Later, their bodies were found.

Train service between Quetta and the rest of the country has been stopped because the main track between Sibi and Dera Murad Jamali was washed away by floodwaters.

Officials said that heavy rain has been falling in Musakhail, Nasirabad, Washuk, Dera Bugti, Kohlu, Barkhan, Zhob, Sibi, and Harnai since Sunday night. This caused a lot of damage in Musakhail. Seasonal rivers and streams flooded and washed away several villages, leaving hundreds of people without a home.

The CM says the whole province is in trouble, and the PM tells BISP to give each affected family Rs50,000.

The deputy commissioner of Musakhail said that more than 12 people were killed when the Andarpose dam broke. He said that so far, rescue teams had found eight dead bodies. When the roof of their house collapsed in the Rarasham area, it killed two children.

The officials said that the roads and communication system in Musakhail were in bad shape and that the district was without power. A protective dyke broke, letting water into a village in Tilli tehsil. The people who lived there had to leave their homes because of this.

“Another protective dyke was broken, so Mal Ghshkori and Hambi villages were also affected,” the deputy commissioner of Sibi told Dawn. He also said that 60 houses in those two villages were damaged.

Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Abdul Qudoos Bizenjo, who was in charge of a meeting to talk about the flood situation, said that the whole province was in a very bad place because torrential rains and flash floods had caused a lot of damage in almost all 34 districts, destroying dams, bridges, roads, and killing a lot of people.

The Relief Coordination Committee meeting was led by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif in Islamabad. The chief minister joined the meeting through a video link. Mr. Bizenjo told the meeting about the damage caused by floods and said that the whole province was affected.

PM Sharif told the Benazir Income Support Program to give each flood-affected family Rs50,000 as a way to help.
