Ayesha Zehri becomes Balochistan’s first female deputy commissioner

Web Desk (LTN NEWS): During his recent trip to the province, PM Shahbaz praised Ayesha Zehri’s efforts to help flood victims get back on their feet.

Assistant Commissioner Ayesha Zehri was promoted on Wednesday and sent to Naseerabad as Balochistan’sfirst female deputy commissioner. This was because of how hard she worked to help with relief efforts in Balochistan.

Ayesha used to work in the irrigation department as the deputy secretary. She replaced Muhammad Hussain as the deputy commissioner of Naseerabad. He is now the Officer on Special Duty (OSD) because he did a bad job during the floods in the province.

Abdul Qudoos Bizenjo, the Chief Minister of Balochistan, said on Twitter that Ayesha Zehri’s appointment shows that people have faith in the skills of women from the province.

CM Bizenjo said that Ayesha Zehri worked with Levies members to rescue people who were stuck in remote parts of the Bolan. He also made sure that flood victims in relief camps in the province had access to facilities.

Ayesha also thanked the CM of Balochistan for his tweet that recognized her work.

Also, on Sunday, while reviewing the restoration of infrastructure in the Bibi Nani area of Balochistan, PM Shahbaz Sharif praised Ayesha Zehri for her efforts in the wake of the recent flooding.
