Web Desk (LTN NEWS): Petitioner wants to bring legal action against Interior Minister for endangering state and judicial authorities.
For the purpose of registering a case against Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah for making threats against the relevant authorities and the judiciary on January 29, a request has been made to the Gojar Khan Police Station in Rawalpindi.
Malik Muhammad Bashir, a former councilman from Ward 3, filed the plea.
The applicant has taken the position that Sanaullah threatened the Punjab chief secretary and other authorities, including the judiciary, on January 29 while speaking to a private news channel.
Bashir stated in the application that the minister had promised to exact revenge on his opponents and hold them accountable so that “they would remember a lesson for the rest of their lives.” Bashir cited Sana in support of this claim.
The applicant claimed that the threats terrified him as well, and he added that Sanaullah continued to make such claims.
He asked the police to open an investigation into the interior minister.
According to the police officials, a decision would be made following the request for legal counsel.
