Decision against Imran Khan to announce in two weeks

Web Desk (LTN NEWS): Islamabad High Court has decided to indict Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan in the contempt of court case related to threatening a female judge.

The contempt of court case against Imran Khan was heard by a 5-member bench of Islamabad High Court headed by Chief Justice Athar Minullah, Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan, his lawyer Hamid Khan and other lawyers were present in the court.

Islamabad High Court gave Imran Khan a chance to apologize in the contempt of court case, but Imran Khan once again expressed regret over his words of threat, refusing to apologize unconditionally.

During the hearing today, Chief Justice Islam High Court Justice Athar Minullah remarked that he is the protector of freedom of expression but cannot allow provocation.

Hamid Khan, the lawyer of Imran Khan, took a position in the court that I completely agree with the judicial observation of the previous hearing, I want to put brief reports before the court, we want to end this matter, the court gave another opportunity on which detailed Reply has been filed, filed a detailed reply on August 21 judicial observation.

Hamid Khan said that the court referred to two decisions of the Supreme Court, these were the court decisions of Daniyal Aziz and Talal Chaudhry, but Imran Khan’s case does not come under these two court decisions, Talal Chaudhry and Daniyal Aziz cases from Imran Khan’s case are very different.
