Web Desk (LTN NEWS): Imran Khan, who is the leader of Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI), spoke out against the arrest of Haleem Adil Sheikh, who is the leader of the opposition in the Sindh Assembly, and the ongoing crackdown on the opposition in the province.

When Imran Ismail, the former governor of Sindh, and Mahmood Moulvi, the newly elected member of the National Assembly from NA-245, met him at Banigala on Tuesday, the PTI chairman congratulated Mahmood on his historic win in the by-election.

According to a statement released by the PTI at the time, Mr. Khan also congratulated Mr. Ismail and the PTI Karachi organization on their successful campaign to beat the joint candidate of the government’s allied parties in the NA-245 elections

During the meeting, they also talked about the political situation in the country, the damage caused by the flood, and what was being done to help the people of Sindh.

Mr. Ismail told the PTI chairman about how the opposition leader in the Sindh Assembly was being “badly treated” and about the ongoing crackdown on the opposition in the province.

During the meeting, the chairman was also told about what the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) was doing to avoid the upcoming elections for local government in Sindh.

In the meantime, the head of the PTI asked young people to join the “Imran Tigers” so that his message of real freedom could be spread door to door. In a video statement, he said, “Imran Tigers will be the passionate young people of my country who will spread my message to every corner of the country.”

He called it a “system of ignorance and unfairness.” He said that for this to happen, he needed the youth to tell everyone everywhere about real freedom.

When asked how to join “Imran Tigers,” he said that all you have to do is send “Yes” to the WhatsApp number 0300-1119444 and you’ll be a part of “Imran Tigers” right away. After they wrote “Yes,” he said, a website name would show up in the message, and they could sign up there.

Mr. Khan urged all the young people to take part, saying that this was the first step toward real independence.

He said that they had reached a key point in their journey to real freedom.
