Sharif’s death was planned: Faisal Vawda

Faisal Vawda disagreed with the Kenyan police’s claim that Arshad Sharif was killed because of mistaken identity. He said that Sharif’s death was planned and that the plan was made in Pakistan.

The leader of the PTI said that Arshad’s death was planned and not an accident. He said that Arshad Sharif was shot down at close range.

Pak Army wants a top-level investigation

The Pakistan Army asked the government on Tuesday to look into the sad death of the journalist at a high level.

Lt Gen Babar Iftikhar, Director General (DG) of Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), said, “We have asked the government to hold a high-level investigation to put an end to all these rumours.”

“Everything about this awful thing needs to be looked into.”

In response to a question about the institutions being blamed for Sharif’s death in Kenya, the DG ISPR said, “It is very unfortunate that people make accusations without any proof to back them up… I think an in-depth investigation should be done to find out what’s going on, and I think it should be done.”

The Kenyan police say this is how Arshad Sharif died.

Kenyan police took responsibility and said Sharif was killed when they opened fire on his car, thinking it was a car that had been stolen while they were looking for a stolen car.

Kenyan police said in a report that they thought the car had a child hostage because it drove through a barricade with people in it without stopping.
