Long March date to announce in next week: Imran Khan

Web Desk (LTN NEWS): Imran Khan, the leader of the PTI, said that he will announce the date of his “Haqeeqi Azadi March” next Thursday or Friday. He warned the government not to do anything to stop the march.

The government tried to stop the PTI’s long march by going to the Supreme Court. But the top court turned down the request for a temporary order to stop the PTI’s planned long march. This gave the Khan-led party a boost.

Before going to the highest court, the government warned the head of the PTI several times. One top official said that if Khan called for another long march, the government would double its policy for May 25.

If the PTI holds another long march, they will be coming to Islamabad for the second time. The last march was on May 25, and when Khan got to Islamabad, he stopped the march all of a sudden.

At a press conference with PTI Senator Azam Swati, Khan played down reports that he had been arrested and said that the long march would still happen even if he was in jail.

Khan said he was going to announce the date now because he didn’t think the government would hold elections quickly. “The march will be peaceful this time, and people will enjoy it.”

The PTI leader also said that unlike the last time, he would not let the government torture or bother his party leaders and workers. “Nowhere in the world does this kind of violence happen.”
