Web Desk (LTN NEWS): On Saturday, PM Shehbaz Sharif and the UN Secretary-General of the United Nations, Antonio Guterres, came to this city to visit the flood-hit Usta Muhammad Tehsil.
The chief secretary of Balochistan told the dignitaries about how the monsoon floods had caused a lot of damage and how rescue, relief, and rebuilding efforts were going on in the province.

In a conversation with the UN secretary-general at the time, the PM said that it was very hard for the authorities to reach the people who were hurt in remote parts of the province.

He told them that the floods had done a lot of damage to the roads, trains, and bridges.

PM said that helping flood victims get back on their feet was a big challenge. PM said that the federal government was helping the provinces and asked for help from the rest of the world.

PM said that the province had its own natural resources and that his government was working to make the province better.

Balochistan’s Chief Minister Abdul Quddus Bizenjo told UN secretary-general that the rescue, relief, and recovery efforts had used up all of their limited resources. He asked the rest of the world for money to help the people in the country who were hurt by the floods.

Acting Governor of Balochistan Abdul Quddus Bizenjo and Chief Minister Abdul Quddus Bizenjo met the PM and the UN secretary-general when they arrived earlier.
