Rawalpindi (LTN NEWS): In a tweet on Sunday, former Interior Minister Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed made fun of PML-N Chief Nawaz Sharif for thinking about leaving the government.
“The vote on the motion of no confidence was made in London. “The same Nawaz Sharif is now talking about leaving the government,” he wrote on Twitter, criticizing the former prime minister.
Rasheed wrote on Twitter, “The government is at zero, but he [Imran Khan] has become a hero.”
Rasheed, in his tweet, wrote that Pakistan was in an “economic jam”, adding that people cannot afford to pay utility bills, along with a fixed tax.
He tweeted: “Maulana Fazlur Rehman’s threatening statements will create more confusion. I want to tell the chocolate sellers that there is going to be a famine of flour and ghee. 3 rupees reduction in petrol and 9 rupees increase in diesel is like a joke to the nation. The personal factories of the rulers are fine. The house of the poor has been damaged.”
Rasheed wrote in another tweet that none of Pakistan’s friends—China, Dubai, Qatar, or Saudi Arabia had helped with money this time. He also said that the country had not been able to get money from the International Monetary Fund (IMF) bailout program.
“China is very worried about the conditions the US is putting on the aid, and Pakistan only has enough money on hand to last 45 days instead of 90 days,” the politician wrote.
