Bahawalpur (LTN NEWS): On Tuesday, the District Emergency Response Committee for Preventing Dengue met at the office of Deputy Commissioner Irfan Ali Kathia.
At the meeting, the steps taken to stop dengue were talked about. The meeting was attended by the CEO of Health, Dr. Muhammad Iqbal Makwal, the DHO of Preventive Medicine, Dr. Khalid Mehmood Arain, the Focal Person, and the DHO of Health, Dr. Khalid Chanar, an entomologist, and other officers and focal persons.
The DC said that to stop dengue larvae from growing, it is important to stop water from staying in one place and to make people more aware of this issue. The DC also told the people on the indoor and outdoor surveillance teams to work hard.
He also said that under the dengue vigilance report system, all complaints must be dealt with right away.
