Islamabad (LTN NEWS): Mufti Abdul Shakoor, the Minister for Religious Affairs, said on Wednesday that the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government was corrupt and had stolen money from the Newly Merged Tribal Districts (NMTD) of the old Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA).
During a debate in the National Assembly, he said that Malam Jaba’s and Bus Rapid Transit’s (BRT) corruption cases were also still open.
He said that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government, which was in power for four years, ruined the economy.
Mufti Shakoor said that the Election Commission of Pakistan’s decision from the day before showed that PTI leader Imran Khan is also a thief.
The minister said that the head of the PTI also got money from people who were against Pakistan. He also said that it was now clear who was a slave of the west.
He said that the Chairman of the PAC should keep up with the accountability process and deal with issues of public importance in the order that the Constitution says they should be dealt with.
