Web Desk (LTN NEWS): Shehbaz says that the federal government has raised the amount of money given to people who have been hurt from Rs25,000 to Rs250,000.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said in separate speeches in flood-hit areas of South Punjab, such as Dera Ghazi Khan, Rojhan, and Rajanpur, on Friday that he would do everything he could to help those who had been hurt by the floods.

When he spoke to the people at Dera Gazi Khan, the prime minister said that the locals’ request for water channels would be met soon. He also promised to leave no stone unturned until all flood victims were helped.

According to the National Finance Commission (NFC) award for 2010, the provinces get about 58% of the money. He told the provincial governments to take care of the people’s needs.

Shehbaz said that when he was the chief minister of Punjab, he used money from the state to start development projects.

He said that the federal government was committed to helping people in flood-damaged areas and getting them back on their feet as soon as possible. He also stressed the importance of making sure that the victims get their money.

PM Shehbaz said that the federal government had raised the cash help for people who were hurt from Rs25,000 to Rs250,000. He also said that the same amount of money would be given to people whose mud or concrete homes were completely destroyed and to people whose homes were only partially destroyed.

He told the people in charge to get ready for more rain in the flood-affected areas by taking steps ahead of time.

The government will do its best to help

At a public meeting in Rojhan, the prime minister said that the federal government and the provincial government would work together to help the people who had been hurt by the floods.

The prime minister said that the government’s main goal is to help the people, so it will do everything it can to help those who lost things in the recent floods. He told the people in charge to keep an eye out for the next rainy periods so that people’s lives, property, and animals wouldn’t be hurt anymore.

PM Shehbaz said, “The people who are suffering and stressed are looking to the government to help ease their pain and stress. Any failure to provide food, medicine, and shelter will not be tolerated.”

He stressed helping flood victims all over the country in the same way. He also ordered that proper cleaning, sanitation, and fumigation measures be taken in flood-affected areas to stop the spread of diseases and that clean drinking water be given to stop stomach diseases.

He also said that the federal and provincial governments should work together to do a survey of the damage caused by floods.

The leader of the province said that both the federal and provincial governments were working around the clock to help the people who were hurt.

The prime minister was able to see the damage caused by the heavy rains when he flew over the area.

The Provincial Disaster Management Authority has also been given the first survey.
