Web Desk (LTN News): Tuesday, Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) Vice President Maryam Nawaz said that she can no longer support the government’s decision to raise the price of Petrol. She said that she stands with the people.
In a tweet, Maryam Nawaz said that PML-N leader Nawaz Sharif doesn’t want to add to the country’s problems by raising gas prices even more and that he has strongly opposed the idea.
Maryam also said in response to a comment that Nawaz Sharif had said that he couldn’t let the public pay one more penny, and if the government forced him to, he wouldn’t be a part of this decision.
Maryam Nawaz said that the PML-N leader stuck to his point of view and left the meeting.
