Girl torture in Faisalabad for “turning down a proposal”

Web Desk (LTN NEWS): The complainant, who is in her final year of BDS, filed a case in which she said that Ana Ali, daughter of accused Danish Ali, a resident of Paradise Valley in Sheikhupura, was her friend since they were in school and she often went to her house. The woman who filed the complaint said that during these visits, the accused Danish Ali started to like her and even sent her a formal proposal, which she turned down.

The complainant said that after she turned down the offer, the accused started to pressure her through his daughter Ana Ali to change her mind and accept the offer. But she didn’t change her mind and stuck to her decision.

The person who filed the complaint said that the person who was accused even sent her death threats. The person who filed the complaint said that after those threats, she decided that she would no longer talk to her friend or her family.

The complainant said that on August 9, when her brother Hasan Ghafoor Ali, who had just come from England, and his friends Malik Ali Awan, Ali Alvi, and she were at home, accused Sheikh Danish Ali, his daughter, Faizan, Shoaib, and Khan Muhammad broke into their house with guns and started torturing her and her brother. They broke into her room and took a pricey cell phone, Rs500,000 in cash, and two bangles worth Rs450,000.

The accuser then took the complainant and her brother to their home, according to the accuser.

“The accused beat me and my brother and forced me to lick their shoes. They also tortured us. Later, accused Sheikh Ana Ali, Maham, and accused Sheikh Danish made a video of me cutting my hair with scissors, and the video went viral on social media,” she said.

She also said that Sheikh Danish Ali had tried to sexually assault her. She said that the accused Sheikh Danish had already raped her a lot of times.

In this case, accused mill owner Malik Sheikh Danish said he didn’t know the girl and that he and his family were being blackmailed.

The accused has been charged under several sections by the Women Police Station. The incident was noticed by the City Police Officer, Omer Saeed Malik, who put together a special team led by the SP of Madina Town.

Six people have been arrested on charges that they took a young woman and her brother hostage and tortured them. The CPO said that one of the police’s most important jobs was to protect the honour and rights of women.
