Web Desk (LTN NEWS): In the meeting presided over by the Prime Minister, the rescue, relief, and rehabilitation measures of the flood victims will be reviewed, while the Prime Minister will be briefed on the cash and compensation payments to the flood victims.
In today’s meeting, the Prime Minister will be informed about the relief operations through helicopters and the process of providing immediate cash of 25,000 under the Benazir Income Support Program will be reviewed.
Yesterday, the Prime Minister ordered immediate distribution of cash to the flood victims of Sindh, while Shahbaz Sharif had a telephone conversation with the Army Chief and Chairman NDMA yesterday, in which they discussed the issues related to the relief operations in Sindh.
Apart from this, the Prime Minister had directed the provision of helicopters due to the destruction of the communication roads and bridges in Sindh.
