PM Shehbaz praises Balochistan’s Assistant Commissioner

Web Desk (LTN NEWS): PM went to the Bibi Nani area of Balochistan on Sunday, he praised the work of Assistant Commissioner (AC) Mach Ayesha Zehri, who has been helping flood victims in the area get relief and get back on their feet.

Prime Minister went to the province that had been hit by floods to check on how the relief efforts were going.

PM Shehbaz clapped to show his support for AC Zehri’s work, and Chief Minister of Balochistan Abdul Qudoos Bizenjo and other officers joined him.

During his speech, PM Shehbaz also praised the hard work of the workers who fixed a road damaged by floods in just eight hours. After the Bibi Nani Bridge collapsed because of the flooding, the road from Quetta to Sukkur was closed. This left 6,000 people stuck on both ends of the road.

“Even though there is a big disaster, it is important that work is being done in the name of national pride,” he said.

During his visit, he was told about the rebuilding of infrastructures, such as roads, bridges, and train tracks.

PM praised the work of district administration officials and said that their “commitment and dedication have been an inspiration to the public.”

Chairman of the National Highway Authority Khurram Agha told the PM about the work being done to fix the Bibi Nani Bridge. After that, the PM said that workers on the bridge would get Rs3 million and another group of workers would get Rs2 million.

Prime Minister said that relief grants of Rs5 million would be given to workers on the ground who were having trouble, and Rs1 million would be given to people who were fixing gas lines. A committee would be established to dispense the amount and ensure merit.
