Web Desk (LTN NEWS): Pakistan won in Dubai with one ball left after needing 182 to win. A key 73-run stand between Rizwan and Mohammad Nawaz helped them get there (42).

Rizwan was out after making his second half-century in a row in the 17th over, but Khushdil Shah’s unbeaten 14 and Asif Ali’s 16 off of eight balls made sure that Pakistan beat Arshdeep Singh.

Rizwan, who had scored 43 and 78 in his last two games, came back with three fours and a six off of fast bowler Hardik Pandya in the next over.

Together, he and Fakhar Zaman scored 41 runs. Fakhar Zaman had a shaky 13 runs before getting out to Yuzvendra Chahal’s leg spin.

Pakistan moved left-handed spinner, Nawaz, up in the batting order to get more runs, and he did just that by hitting a four and a six right away.

Rizwan hurt himself when he fell awkwardly on his right leg while keeping the wicket, but he was able to keep going. He led the innings and got to fifty in 37 balls.

Nawaz hit five fours and two sixes in 20 balls and stayed strong with Rizwan until Bhuvneshwar Kumar got him out.

India thought things were looking up when Pandya got rid of Rizwan, but the left-handed Khushdil and Asif finished the chase and helped Pakistan get back at India for losing to them in the group stage.

Kohli, India’s star batsman, hit 60 runs off 44 balls before being run out in the last over. This helped India make up for a slow middle order and post a good total.

He got to his 32nd half-century in 36 balls with a six off of fast bowler Mohammad Hasnain while a packed stadium chanted “Kohli, Kohli.”

Shadab Khan, who spins with his legs, stood out with a score of 2-31 in four overs.

The game between India and Pakistan was very close, but in the end, the Green Shirts won. Cricket fans on both sides of the border are still making memes about the game on Twitter.

Before Pakistan beat the Blue Shirts, the microblogging site was full of memes showing either Pakistanis celebrating Babar Azam’s team win or Indians crying over their cricket team’s loss.
