Australia and Canada aid flood victims

Web Desk (LTN NEWS): More than 33 million people were directly affected by the recent floods and rains in the country.

According to the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA), 75 more people died in the last 24 hours, after which the number of people who died due to floods and rains reached 1136.

NDMA says that 10,51,570 have been damaged across the country so far, while 7,35,375 cattle have died due to floods and rains.

According to the report, 162 bridges have been damaged during the rains and floods so far, 72 districts have been badly affected while more than 33 million people have been directly affected by the floods.

Australia announces 2 million dollars in aid

Australia has announced to donate 2 million dollars to help the flood victims of Pakistan.

The Australian Foreign Minister said that the government is providing assistance to Pakistan for immediate humanitarian needs, under which Australia will provide $2 million in aid to Pakistan through the World Food Program.

Canada’s declaration of emergency aid

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has announced additional emergency aid for Pakistan.

In a statement on Twitter, Justin Trudeau said that his country will continue to provide food, clean water, and other essential items.
